The short version
If you join the list, we keep your email address (and your first name, if you give it) for three things: first word when the edition is closing, first word when the next Visto opens, and any offer that goes to the list and nowhere else. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services that keep this site running. Ask us to delete it, and we will.
What we collect
The list. When you join we collect your email address, which is required, and your first name, which is optional. We also record which form you used (the case sheet, the movement sheet, the signup at the foot of the homepage, and so on) so we can see which placements are worth keeping. The list is used for the three purposes above and nothing else.
A note in your browser. Once you have joined, the site stores a single "joined" flag in your browser's local storage so it stops asking you to join. The flag holds no address and nothing about you; clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-focused service that reports aggregate page views. It does not identify you or follow you across the web.
Advertising measurement. If you arrived here from one of our ads, the site loads the Google tag (Google Ads), which may set cookies so we can tell that an ad led to a signup. We see counts, not identities.
Who processes it
List entries are stored with Supabase (our database provider). The site is hosted on Vercel. Email is sent through Resend. Ad measurement is provided by Google. Each processes data on our behalf to run this site, and nothing more.
How long we keep it
List entries are kept for as long as Soltere makes editions, because the list exists to hear about the next one. Ask us to delete yours and it is gone, whatever stage the current edition is at.
Your choices
To stop hearing from us, unsubscribe here; every email we send carries the same link. Want your details corrected or deleted entirely, or want to know exactly what we hold about you? Email solterewatches@gmail.com and it will be handled promptly.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies for browsing. The Google tag described above may set advertising-measurement cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookieless.
